Global expansion services and the new UK investment office
A major addition to the UK Government's ability to attract foreign investment was announced by Prime Minister Boris Johnson last month.
The newly-formed Office for Investment will boost the UK's ability to secure high value investment opportunities which align with the Government's key priorities. These priorities include reaching net zero greenhouse gas emissions investment in infrastructure and advancing research and development.
By doing this the Government is not only looking to improve its support of existing investment into the UK but also to further encourage new sustainable high-value investment and ensure the UK is well positioned to maximise the benefits that flow from free trade agreements with international partners.
One of the aims of the Office for Investment will be to try to remove or resolve potential obstacles to securing top-tier investments encouraging a drive of investment into all corners of the UK.
