With nearly three decades of private wealth experience locally and internationally, Ciaran joined Praxis in early 2025.
History
Ciaran has been in the finance industry since 1996 and has significant international experience having held senior positions at multinational trust companies.
His career includes Managing Director roles in London, Guernsey and Singapore for the trust division of a leading Swiss private bank. In London, he was Head of Trust & Estate Advisory for three years prior to a five-year tenure as Deputy Centre Head – Trust in Guernsey. Relocating to Singapore in 2015 to take up the role of Managing Director, he also held principal MAS regulatory Resident Manager status and sat on the Group Audit and Investment Solutions operational and strategic committees.
On his return to Guernsey he was Managing Director, Centre Head and subsequently assumed the role of Global Head - Trust Management, with responsibility for several offshore locations with AUM of USD100bn and 200+ staff. Most recently he was an equity partner of an international trust company.
He is a member of STEP and the Institute of Directors.
Roles and responsibilities
With a strong client focus, Ciaran has particular expertise dealing with complex contentious trust cases and sophisticated individual and family office clients. At Praxis, he is responsible for a significant family office portfolio and is a member of the Guernsey trust company board.
