James is a qualified Society of Trust and Estate Practitioner with over 13 years of experience in the offshore trust and corporate services industry.
History
James joined our Jersey office as a Senior Manager in October 2023 and is responsible for overseeing one of our private wealth teams, ensuring seamless client service and management.
Before joining Praxis, James worked with both medium and large firms, where he administered and managed a range of private and corporate client portfolios. His exposure to diverse asset classes and client needs across different regions, including the UK, US, Europe, Israel, Africa, and the Middle East, has shaped his holistic approach to client service.
Roles and responsibilities
James manages a private wealth team, overseeing quality control, resource allocation, and project management to ensure all client requests and transactions are handled promptly and efficiently. He closely monitors critical performance metrics to maintain high standards across client services and tailors solutions to meet each client's unique needs. His hands-on approach ensures that both existing and prospective clients receive exceptional support and added value through the administration of their structures.
James also plays a key role in mentoring and developing his team, focusing on improving performance, system efficiencies, and cost-effectiveness. His leadership ensures the smooth and proactive management of client portfolios, spanning various asset classes and global regions.

Outside of work, James enjoys reading, chess, writing fiction, and volunteering as a director for a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting abuse survivors.
