We have a great opportunity for a Financial Account Manager to join our Netherlands office.
Based in Amsterdam, you will be the first point of contact for all financial issues affecting your client portfolio and your responsibilities will be as diverse as the international clients you will be working with.
Key responsibilities

Comply with the internal procedures and Dutch Central Bank regulations

Comprehensive keeping of the client accounts

Act as the first point of contact for your client portfolio, advisors, and other relevant parties

Maintain and develop close relationships with prospects, clients, intermediaries, and other
stakeholders, such as banks, lawyers, accountants, advisors and (semi) governmental institutions -
Consult and correspondent in a professional manner on behalf of client companies

Prepare the monthly/quarterly/annual management reports, in accordance with international
standards and internal requirements -
Prepare, check and assess the object company’s accounting records / annual accounts

Prepare and submit annual tax returns, in accordance with regulations
-
Prepare and submit the monthly/quarterly VAT return
-
Assist in financial and tax audits

Report to the DNB and AFM (regulations)

Monitor transactions in accordance with Wtt and Wwft

Manage bank accounts for clients

Maintain accounting databases
Minimum experience / education required
-
A Bachelor, or a Master degree in relevant discipline (preferably finance/accounting)

A minimum of three years of relevant working experience
-
Extended knowledge of Dutch GAAP and regulations, knowledge of IFRS is considered to be of value

Practical knowledge of tax law, VAT and CIT declarations

High attention to detail

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision
