Toby joined Praxis in 2024, having qualified as a Solicitor of England and Wales in early 2023. As part of the In-House Legal Counsel team, Toby provides support to the trust administration teams and Group entities on a variety of client and internal matters.
Toby began his legal career working in-house at a large retailer, before joining a global law firm where he completed his legal training. As part of this, he spent time in the Litigation, Corporate, Trust and Private Client, and Employment law practices. After qualifying, Toby worked as an Associate at a global law firm, advising clients on a broad range of Trust, Regulatory and Commercial Disputes alongside contentious and non-contentious Employment law issues.
Prior to studying law, Toby worked in a number of bakeries in the UK before returning to his home island of Guernsey in 2017 to set up his own bakery business. In his spare time, he practises yoga and is a competitive endurance runner and active member of the local athletics club.
